Johnstone Joins Board of Area Home Care and Family Services, Inc.,

DataRisk is pleased to announce that Jill Johnstone, Assistant Vice President and Account Executive, has been named to the Board of Directors of Area Home Care and Family Services, Inc., Portsmouth, NH.

Founded in 1972, the Agency’s mission is to provide non-medical home care services to the elderly and to people with disabilities, so they may stay in their homes for as long as possible.  Its services include meal planning and preparation, shopping, errands and socialization, and visitation.  The Agency’s services are an integral part of the home and community based care, which is the foundation for services outlined in the NH State Plan on Aging.

Ms. Johnstone has been active in the community and was looking for an opportunity to volunteer with an organization that has a significant impact on the lives of those it supports.  She was thrilled when asked to become a member of the Board.

DataRisk Completes Risk Management and Insurance Due Diligence for a $400M+ Bio-Pharm Acquisition.

Portsmouth based DataRisk, a leading Risk Management Consulting and Specialized Insurance Brokerage firm announced today that it has recently completed a due diligence project associated with a $400M+ bio-pharm acquisition. The complex transaction, which took more than a year to conclude, involved the transfer of various business units and encompassed operations on three continents.

As part of its broad scope of work DataRisk:
• Engaged parties on both sides of the transaction to insure all of the risk management, insurance and contractual issues were clearly understood and adequately protected;
• Reviewed and provided guidance on the insurance and indemnification sections of the transaction documents;

The human services sector, particularly those organizations dedicated to assisting people with special needs is often under-served by the standard, process driven insurance brokerage community, according to Andronaco.

Mr. Holt has over 13 years of experience in the insurance and risk management industry. He comes to Data Risk from Willis of New Hampshire, where he served as Vice President, Director of Marketing for the Insurance Programs Division. Prior to his appointment with DataRisk, Mr. Holt specialized in providing insurance, loss control, and risk management advice to the hospitality, recreation, and real estate related industries for eight years.

Mr. Holt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Plymouth State University and is currently finishing his studies to obtain both his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation and his Associates in Risk Management. Mr. Holt is actively involved in his community serving as a volunteer firefighter and is currently training to become a certified EMT.
